I forgot to mention that Songs of Innocence came out the day after my birthday.

The Beatles did a 5 day tour of Scotland in support of "Love Me Do" in the month I was born.  I wonder who is the oldest member of the @u2 board.  I'm 51, but I know there are older members here. Elder statesmen, speak up!
I was 24 when I first saw U2. Unforgettable Fire tour in Denver on St. Patrick's Day, 1985

Looks like mine was the 'Hair' soundtrack - somewhat ironic me thinks...

I was born on 8/5/1979.  U2 Three was released a month+ later...little did I know that it was only available in Ireland and I was so frustrated I couldn't get a pre-release copy in the States that I probably kept my parents up all night screaming.

Yup. Some great albums in '69!

I was born in 1976, the same year as the band itself! So no, no birth year releases for me.

Not exactly U2, but the Mission Impossible movie soundtrack, with Adam and Larry's remix of the main theme, was released on the day I was born. :D According to Wikipedia anyway.

Three years before that, Zooropa would have been released, according to an old issue of NME that I have... I think one of the band members said in an interview that they were aiming to release it on June 28th, 1993, which is three years to the date before I was born. But who knows what was really planned... I still like that fact because of my love for Zooropa!

I'm about a month and a week younger than the formation date.
