Thought it might be fun to take a momentary breather from all the madness of the new stuff to go back EVEN further. Might also help put the new tunes into perspective.

Regarding Rattle and Hum... obviously there are covers and new versions of old songs. I trust people will vote them down accordingly ;-)

So far we have...

Where The Streets Have No Name (62% of the vote

Next up, track 2. My gut tells me Pride. But I have to revisit.

Not a strong set of songs for me this.

Never liked ISHFWILF, Pride is a song that I liked at first but it has just become boring down the years and the live versions generally not very good.

I am voting for Twilight, a highlight from Boy.

Yeah, I'm going for Pride. I like the rest... but in this list of songs... Pride clearly takes the band into a stratospheric new level.

ISHFWILF continues the track. But Pride is first on this list.

I agree 100% with Pride. It always seemed lacking live for me, like it's missing a spark that the studio version has.

That leaves it as a toss up for me between I Still Haven't Found and Seconds. Let's go Seconds!  :)

Who would have thought we would get 2 Edge lead vocals in the mix!

I really like Seconds, it was on the first U2 album I bought and I loved the simplicity of it.

Pride is amazing as is ISHFWILF but for purely personal reasons I'm voting for Seconds

ISHFWILF
Twilight
Seconds
Pride
I Fall Down
Van Diemans Land

Btw, Balcony, you should ignore the live songs of R&H, so mostra of the studio songs could compete in this poll.

1. Pride (In The Name Of Love)
2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
3. Twilight
4. Seconds
5. Van Diemen's Land
6. I Fall Down

Out of these six, Twilight is by far the most underrated. An amazing gem of a tune from U2's debut album.

It can't compete with the might of Pride or ISHFWILF though.

Trying to remember to look closely at the wording of the poll question. This one is BEST track, not Favorite. Ok, got it.

Really close between pride and ishfwilf, going with the latter.
I don't know if that was your idea from the beggining, but it'd be really nice to have a final poll between the winners of the 3 decades

Same, but I enjoy listening to Pride more, particularly as I usually think of the TUF documentary.

Good poll idea!

Truly a difficult choice.
You can't go wrong with most of the options.
I choose ISHFWILF.

What a list of songs, wow!

I like Pride, but it is overplayed.  I never cared for ISHFWILF.  I went with Seconds.

Still Haven't Found is by far the best tune there - it's one of their best singles in my opinion.
