This poll is in light of Bono's recent comment in an interview "Id be interested to know what setlists would come out of the fansites, that would be really helpful to know what are the favourite songs."

  • You can swallow, or you can spit.
Exit, God Part 2 and Tomorrow would be the most welcome from that list.

Always loved exit, always been frustrated by how quiet the recirding was on the album.

  • it ain't no sin to be glad that you're alive
Hawkmoon is one of their best rock songs, but I don't know if Bono could handle it vocally anymore. The "Like a thunder needs rain..." part needs to be shouted out with a lot of passion.

Stories For Boys
Tomorrow
Like A Song
Exit

SFB can lead on from Vertigo without too much trouble. They brought back OOC on 360, why can't they bring this back too?

Tomorrow can fit into a "Bono's mother" section of the setlist along with the likes of Iris etc. I could see this as being only a snippet though as the full band probably wouldn't want to play it.

Like A Song must be played. There is no question of this. The only issue I could see would be Bono handling the vocals. They are pure passion and power - I'm not sure if he's still got this kind of raw emotion anymore. Also, where would it fit into a setlist?

Exit would be amazing live nowadays. It would throw the audience off guard but, as is the case with Like A Song, could Bono still handle the vocals?

Drowning Man.
Two Hearts Beat As One.
Hawkmoon 269.

The hardest was picking between Exit and God Part II!

Exit, Drowning Man, God Part II, and One Tree Hill.

Why only these songs though? I would have voted for A Sort of Homecoming easily.

Looking at the vibe of SoI, I wouldn't be surprised if the band eschews everything post-1983. That would be ballsy. Songs of Experience Tour could feature tracks from 1984 to present day. They have the deep tracks to pull it off. Songs like Gloria, Tomorrow, Stories For Boys, Two Hearts Beat As One, Like a Song, Surrender, A Day Without Me, etc. An acoustic A Celebration!

A lot of the old war horses that would benefit from a rest would get a rest.

No UTEOW, Streets, ISHFWILF, Bullet, WOWY, Pride, One

I'd like to see a Like A Song/Song For Someone combo, just because it looks cool. Maybe followed by Some Days Are Better Than Other, to make it look like the "drop a word/add a word" game. 8)

It's a close call between Hawkmoon 269 and God Part II. They both have that throaty vocal and power band sound. Hawkmoon 269 needed my love, so...
