I think it is a stroke of genius to promote the album using Bono's voice the way they are.

Yes but we're complaining because we've heard it a few times now...... ;D

How can uk tv be an hour behind when the awards are in the uk??madness

So they can edit out any bad language. These events are hardly shown live in the UK.

What a load of horrible noise. I bet Larry in particular can't wait to get back to the airport.

Do we reckon U2 will play the Hydro next year? Capacity of 13,000 could serve their more 'intimate' approach.
I think that is seated....another few thousand standing. I reckon they will play 2 shows there next year

I was referring to all the stuff before U2 were introduced, don't panic.

Just watched it, was good. Bono just about treading the line between raw passion and emotion and pushing his voice too far, made for a good performance, almost collapsed at one stage though not sure what he sang at one point. Slightly different delivery in places too.

For the lords sake, there is an award for song with a message. Beyonce won it for a song call Pretty Hurts. Oh my life...

Wasn't the best version of Every Breaking Wave I have heard. Bono messed up his lines and trying out new things is cool and that but I get the feeling is because he is struggling to keep up with it.

Best version I have heard is on Jools to date...

The actual trophies are the cheapest bits of crap ive ever seen. A polystyrene 'M' attatched by a spring to a big polystyrene ball. I guess they sum up the artists they are awarded to.
