I'm expecting a cancellation or postponement.  :( I knew my luck was too good to be true landing those tickets!  ;) The good news is that I can just leave sooner and be well-rested for Monday morning and the work week.

I'm in the same boat.  Was beyond stoked to score a ticket only to be gutted when I heard about Bono's accident.

I'm expecting to hear that the band has pulled out of the show.  But not expecting KROQ to announce it until they have found another act to put on the bill.  I would guess they're trying to see if a Night 1 headliner such as Linkin Park will play both nights.

Otherwise they need to find a huge band to fill the gap.  And I just don't see that happening.

If U2 pulls out, this show officially gets "lame duck" status.

I would say only Pearl Jam could fill the spot.  They can do the "A sort of homecoming" cover for the U2 fans during the set.

Try the Ticketmaster web site.  The tickets might be loaded to your account page.  My ticket came in the mail on Saturday.

Hmm...wonder if they might do another U2 minus 1 for this show like the World AIDS Day line up. I'm still thinking a 1-year postponement.

Heard Edge call in today to KROQ. He talked about the tour dates and they are NOT PLAYING the Acoustic Xmas show. Those that want refunds can still get them.

"Can STILL get them"???  Not only has NOTHING been said that they are officially not playing, but has there ever been a statement that refunds will be given?

It is obvious they weren't going to play.  So why advertise that they were for the last few weeks?  All KROQ had to do was say something.  I think it's BS when they say that they had not received "official" word from U2.  Really?

And there has never been an offer for a refund.  This was handled pathetically by the station, starting with the fiasco which caused many, many people from So Cal who had tickets during the sale, only to have a Ticketmaster error cancel them at the last screen.

You can listen to Edge's call in to KROQ on their website. There is info on it about a refund for night 2 tickets.

They are refunding Night 2 tickets only.  Those seeking a refund need to contact Ticketmaster by Dec 12.

KROQ is smart enough to know that without the main headliner able to appear and no comparable replacement, it would have been a PR disaster if they hadn't offered refunds.
