Same old sh** aka stale, static setlists. I want to see variety from night to night, as I'm going to 7 California shows in a short time frame (2.5 weeks). Oh, and not play "A Sort Of Homecoming".

Nothing.  Even if they had to cancel/reschedule a few shows, there is a perfectly good reason why (Bono's health.)  For everything else, I'll just be super excited to see my favorite band play live in front of me and won't get stressed out like a lot of you do over details like set list, sound, views, etc.  U2 will be playing and I will be very happy!

why would someone want to spend energy being 'ticked off' by U2 when they can spend energy enjoying the entire experience? (if in fact, they are fans) what could U2 do to tick me off? absolutely nothing.

A lazy performance  OR  if the opening act puts on a better show than the headliner.

Play a lot of music off of Pop and No Line On The Horizon and tie everything into politics and charity.

Blasphemy!  ;)

It could theoretically happen with a few bands I've seen, but then who knows what they are like in a big arena. I've also seen a very good Coldplay MX show and Muse The 2nd Law show and they couldn't do it even though I'd want to see both of them again.

Agree, would love to hear Gone, DYFL, LNOE, IGWSHA, IYWTVD... but I know that's not likely....

I do agree with the desire to keep the politics and other humanitarian stuff to a minimum.

I agree w/ this and I'd still really like to hear NLOTH live and maybe Breathe too. Oh, and Unknown Caller.

A couple years back on the interference forum, a member posted a little chat they had with bono before a 360 concert. They said Bono responded when asked about the future tour (the current IE) that he wanted to go indoors. He wanted to play rarities and explore never before material. In particular, I remember him saying he actually wanted to revisit POP when they tour again in the chat. I'm very hopeful they will play Gone and Staring at the Sun.
