Still Greatest Live Version of "one", and will forever be the G.O.A.T version

Keen for all youtube vids to pop up, especially keen for not only Bad, but Miracle Drug. Also had a soft spot for this song because it shows Bono's compassion in its absolute finest.

These shows should be sold on iTunes like Pearl Jam does or on their website like the Boss does. That would be sweet!!

"I see through the eyes of novacaine/To where the streets have no name"

Poor Bono. He said that?

That's what I heard.

He needs to spend his days off learning his lyrics... its getting ridiculous. AND he has a teleprompter!
(One reason I always loved REM Live... Stipe always knew the words)

Stipe 100% had the words written down
Yeah he normally had a teleprompter.

Sometimes Stipe even had the lyrics printed on paper on a music stand right in front of him.  Did it make his performance any less awesome?  Hell no!  Why is it such a bad thing to have a teleprompter?  There's a lot of words to a lot of songs, and sometimes when you're onstage in front of 20,000 people, your mind may wonder elsewhere and you forget some lyrics.

From what I've seen and heard night 2 was superior in every aspect.

When love comes to town was brilliant.

Miracle drug was great !

I dunno... I always found his lyrical 'creativity,' live, to be somewhat endearing...
1- makes me feel better abt forgetting my own lyrics, live
2- figure he's lost in the song, lost in the moment, lost in the energy of collective connection w the audience, and I'd rather have that Bono than one who is tentative, but perfectionist in performance...
Now, if it gets to be the norm, on a large scale, that would be different (and I can see, if it's during a favorite song/favorite lyric, that would annoy)

I always figured those little adjustments were planned out.  Like, B was lying in bed the night before and though, "Oh, you know what would be cool..."  That said, there's no reason to change up Streets.  On Popmart he started singing stuff like, "Where the streets have no shame" and replacing "I wanna dance in the poison rain" to "I wanna go where there's no sorry or shame."  It wasn't cool.

They should bring this girl up in a different ridiculous outfit every night.  It'll be like the belly dancer on ZooTV only weirder.  Morliegh better watch out.

if we need to suffer through One again at least move all the (RED) B.S. to the beginning of that again so we can get to enjoy the sweet Streets/40/Bad transition, the speech totally killed the mood
Totally agree. It's a good cause, but not at the expense of Streets/40/Bad. So would be nice to see RED somewhere else. Would also like to see 40 close at some stage. Edge & Adam swapping instruments, & that looooong catwalk walk, one at a time would be a perfect ending for that song.
