I'm normally 100% GA for same reason. I did GA + seats in Van (couldn't get 2nd night GA). I'm glad I did both to get 2 perspectives & after seeing the concerts because of their use of staging as well as the screens; and with this show, I prefer seats on the side between the two choices. Even if you aren't interested in watching the screens at all, the configuration & their use of staging stretches the length of the arena & the 'division' screen/upper stage presents some challenges for viewing in GA.

In GA at the opener, I moved around quite a bit (away from the rails towards the periphery) given the config & their use of stages b/c it is hard to see what's going on the opposite extremes and I did miss more in GA than I normally would.  I was frequently looking for Bono or Edge, at times not knowing where they were, and finding it hard to locate all four of them at times.  Part of this was all the band members using different stages, which they seemed to consolidate a bit more the 2nd night - playing more together as a group.  When I saw the show from seats I could see how much I missed of the band's performance ( say less 10-20%) & less of the lighting along the catwalk & 'e' stage. (See calf up of the band)

Unlike 360, where you could just turn around in the pit for a great view, the 'e' stage is quite far away from the main 'i' stage and its harder to see them on the 'division' screen/upper stage and if you're closer, it can be hard to see on the catwalk at times also.  Midway, centre rink - I was looking hard left, centre, hard right & up. The next day my neck was killing me and I wasn't even craning my neck "up" but more left & right.

A friend was right at the rail for 2 nights on the catwalk, her preferred position regardless of any screens. She wouldn't be anywhere else & could care less about the screens but she did say that it was hard to see down the catwalk at either extreme stages.

Anyway, not trying to persuade you one way or the other - just giving you my own experience & information to help you plot out your strategy!  :)

Did the same ... was GA for the first night Vancouver near the second stage back from the rail and the screen was really and afterthought for me. Night two I was first level in the corner near the main stage on Edge's side and it was a whole different experience with the screen. Much better perspective and I loved it.

How can they still do this?  I mean, I remember hearing this played live at one of the UF Tour shows I went too and all this time later it is still as powerful as when they were younger.  It is as aggressive as it was back then...can you imagine how much better this song would be if they played it more consistently?  This is just amazing! :)
