Stubhub False Alerts
« on: June 15, 2015, 02:35:10 PM »
This might be a silly topic, but I'm starting to wonder if Stubhub is sending false price alerts.  I fixed a certain price, but every time I've clicked on the alert (Within the second) the tix show up as already being sold.  And these tix are in the same section at the same price.  Is anybody else getting this?

I'm positive they send out fake price alerts to drive traffic to the site hoping that someone will hopefully just buy more expensive tickets while there. I have no doubts regarding their shady operation. I get price alerts at the EXACT same time EXACTLY 1 week apart and click on the email basically as soon as it was sent. The tickets are never there. It just so happens I'm selling tickets to an event I have price alerts set up for, so I can see what tickets have and have not sold. I never see the tickets that were supposedly from the price alert sold. Seems awful fishy. OF course they deny it when you ask them about it via chat.
