One of my least favorite songs on SOI but it worked great as an opener at Chicago 1 and 2.  Everyone was singing along, and it got the crowd going just fine, thank you very much.

The opener is just fine. It's the closers that suck. With the exception of 40 of course.

I love it.  On the home page of this site, I voted it as the best song that transitioned to live.  I think it got a bit more powerful when Bono decided to appear from the "E" stage instead of the main stage.  This gets the crowd worked up and it is just him and the "oh's, oh's" and the crowd and then when he arrives at the main stage they plough right into the song.  It is a great opening song to get things going.

It ROCKS, nod to the CHUNKY/CRUNCHY guitar, and how Bono takes the stage with it is perfect!
