I have and while I prefer going with someone, they were some of the best nights ever still. For the large part, U2 fans are incredibly nice (even though there are some smart alecks as evidenced by some of the posts here) so it was easy to talk to people and get on well. I've been to about 15 shows, only seen one fight. Drink was probably involved.

I agree, it's a good crowd !!

Going with someone who isn't really interested is grim.

I went with my then girlfriend now wife to 360 in Dublin and she just sat pretty unimpressed all the way through.....tempers your own enthusiasm a little, although the sub par performance on the night didn't help either.

I felt a bit daft after I had told her how u2 live were a fearsome proposition and how the atmosphere and the show would blast away any reservations she had....her comments after the show 'i just don't get it, was pretty dull really'
