Live Aid 30
« on: July 18, 2015, 06:49:20 AM »
Imagine there was another live aid concert this year. What would U2 play in their 20 minutes.

1985 - Sunday Bloody Sunday/Bad

2005 - sergeant peppers/beautiful day/vertigo/one

2015 - ?

It would probably be very similar too 2005. U2 have only released two albums since 2005.

I reckon it would be something like this:

1. Pride (to make up for not playing it 30 years ago, sounding fresh on this tour, always "relevant" to a cause)
2. Song for Someone (current single, slower pace than Pride and Streets, likely to be popular with casual listener)
3. Where The Streets Have No Name (with Mother & Child Reunion intro as on current tour, great live song for finale)
