Easy slow cooker meal with five ingredients.
Lean pork loin 2 to 3 pound
2 Tbsp butter
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 package onion soup mix
2 Tbsp dijion mustard
Brown in butter on all sides the pork loin. Remove from pan ( I use a ceramic coated) and set aside while slow cooker is warming to high temp. Add cranberry sauce, on a low flame and sauté for a few minutes. Do not burn.
Place loin in slow cooker and scatter dry onion soup mix on top and around. Add cranberry sauce and cover. Cook on high for at least 3 hours or until done and tender. Just, before removing from slow cooker, add mustard and stir into the sauce. Let it marinate for a few minutes. Then, remove roast to a platter. Let it rest for ten minutes before slicing.
