In my defence screen was blocking half stage up there

Is the view that bad An Tha? I'm dead centre in the 30 seats at Glasgow and the missus if most definitely paying a  trip to customer services when we get there, I thought the 02 tickets did say obstructed / limited view, mine don't though!...enjoy the show mate :-)

Was bad.

Edges side of the stage was completely obscured by the screen.

There is a little screen up at that end.

Tickets didn't say restricted or obscured.

To be fair wasn't a bad view of e stage at all though.

I suppose it is an earlier you get in the better job....

I can't stress enough though how easy it was.

I think it was easy as there seems to be loads of unsold tickets, especially unsold expensive seats.

Sit back and enjoy... and resist the temptation to moan about it afterwards  :P

After copping for this seat i will even stay in the arena for elevation  :)

Later!

Surprised you didn't moan that you've been put on Adam's side of the stage  :P

We'll wait up late to hear your review and see the selfie of you doing the woo-hoos to Elevation :)

What a seat ..

I am about 20 ten yards from the catwalk rail smack bang dead centre between i and e stages.

A bit of front pays off

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. :)

Haha....was amazing how easy they just offered me a swap.

It really is an incredible seat

They obviously KNOW who you ARE.

I don't know about after they opened the doors but they started processing cards and ID (so yes they were checking it) about 30 mins before and got through the first 100 or so people. If everything was ok it was straightforward but they couldn't seem to deal with any issues properly (expired cards or magnetic strips not working were two I saw) and this led to some pretty stressed people.

I think it took a while for the floor to fill out as it was taking so long to process. Just 6 scanners for the entire floor. Hopefully tonight they have a better idea of what they are doing and it will go quicker.

Just to add, by the time I got into the Arena - 7:30 - they were just scanning cards, not checking additional id.

Good luck!

I was one of the people still outside when the show began, at least a 1000 people behind me, I did not show id. They just put my credit card throw the scanner. Epic show, walked in half way through first song, goodness knows how much some people must of missed...Up to 4-5 songs I would say...

Tbh though, even when they were I don't think it was more than a cursory glance. They also seemed to really want to help anyone with issues (even if it seemed to take forever) and didn't seem to want to turn anyone away.

Awful. They need to do some kind of partial refund at least.

Knowing they didn't get people in in time first night will lead them to want to make sure they speed up the process on subsequent nights - so anything that slows things down will be stopped....like ID checks.

Ultimately it makes no difference to them and midweek shows will see more people arrive close to kick off due to work....so they will just want to get people in

Don't panic

Don't know details of what you might need to show at box office to do this, but this tweet might interest some of you.

@harrykantas: You can have your ticket printed for tonight at the box office now, after yesterday's issues.
Thanks to @alonlo for the tip!
