I'd love to hear invisible reinvented as a punk track. Remove the electro feel, speed it up, add real drums, and I think it would wail

The best way to play it is invisibly.

I'm surprised Coldplay haven't sued U2 over Invisible. Unless they continue with the theatrical format of this tour I doubt they will play it again. It's just so... bland!

A) Invisible is flipping awesome, the best song from SOI.

B) Coldplay has no room to complain, considering how they ripped off Streets for Life In Technicolor.

Invisible for me was amongst a bunch of songs I felt sounded so good. Particularly loved Edges guitar on the outro- so hopefully yes.

What got me about Invisible is that Edge's solo is pre-recorded. What's that about???

I hope so; love the studio version, but it's better live.

Life in Technicolor a rip off of Streets? I don't hear it.

I get that it was a nice idea to have the band be invisible inside the screen but in doing so it killed the song.
The best version live has not been heard yet and I'd love to hear it in the future.

Can I ask where you got that info from?

Listen to the opening, the structure, and the build up of Streets, how the song is plays through. Then listen to LIT and it follows exactly the same pacing. I love both songs, but there is a massive U2 influence in the Coldplay track.

Being influenced by a song is very different than ripping the song off (copying it).

They sound very different to me.  I like LIT, never heard any copying...

What? Why would they sue?

It does sound like Comfortplay in parts it's true, but not enough to infringe their copyright.  Winter on the other hand either infringed their copyright or was infringed by Comfortplay.

Given where Coldplay got their sound from in the first place, this isn't really a criticism you can apply to U2.

In the Paris broadcast you can clearly see Edge played chords whilst the solo is playing.
