This. Just look at it. Look at the fake, overly happy smiles. I hope they never do this kind of corporate ar*e kissing again. This is why lots of people don't like U2.

The 2nd half of ATYCLB (and HTDAAB) were also cringey.

Pssst...U2 and Apple are buddies. I was gonna vote for the Blackberry deal on 360...

Ugh, I've never seen that first one. I wish I could unsee! And Bono acting like a cat is bizarre, as well.

Bono's vertigo headband, his guyliner, and his hair on this tour.

Pretty good start. Also yapping about Bill Gates and politicians at shows. The Blackberry banners and kiosks at the 360 concerts.

Much as I loved Rattle and Hum when I was a young 'un and it came out I can't abide the moment back stage where Bono is telling everyone when to come in on the next song - "Not the first verse, not the second verse ..."

Agreed...but the look on Edge's face when Larry says to Adam "just watch me, because Edge is on completely different timing as usual"...classic!

I actually feel sympathy for Bono.

I recently watched the HBO Paris show. The competition winners on stage during elevation. That's not good.

Wait what happened?  I thought it was an excellent rendition of Elevation, but I thought something was fishy in how perfect and in control all the action was.  What was the story behind that performance?

So you object to Bono bringing a boy on stage for a song about a boy?? Seemed like a nice gesture to me

The first one is just a crime against my eyes and ears, but yeah, I dont know whats embarrassing about the second clip.  Except the headband.  But we already went over that.

Oh God, GET OVER THIS.

I hate to be rude, but U2 have been bringing people up on stage for 30 years, this is nothing new, and hasn't been for three decades.
