Don't regret the amount of $, but what bothers me is the lousy seats I had for that amount of $.

that is too bad missey.  Are you saying the value was poor compared with other bands' pricing?  or with past U2 tours?  or just in general?

Well on the 360 tour I paid basically the same and had great seats, the best I've ever had, so I kinda thought it would be comparable, if not better because it was an arena (MSG vs. Meadowlands), so it was a disappointment.

Having travelled from Australia to the UK it cost me a s**tload all up. But worth every cent to see 5 shows and meet Bono.

Not at all. The only thing I regret is all the money I had to spend in Chicago, which is as expensive and corrupt as they come. The tickets were actually cheap compared to gas, food and lodging. U2 is the only band that can get me to endure the mess that is Chicago. ;D

I loved Chicago. :) To each their own I guess.

Do you regret seeing no shows?

No, I like the album well enough, but the setlists left me cold after seeing them settling in to the same old patterns they are prone to, leaving many of my fave SOI tracks unplayed, or under played, or dropping them (still seems a far more enjoyable show than 360)

This is exactly why I'm glad I saw my shows early in the tour.

Although I do think the shows were excellent and you did miss something special.

Weeell... Some of it was really good but there was too much fluctuation in Bono's vocal performance, first time he sang off key regularly, phoning it in on unusual suspects, general Bono weariness on my part (honestly, I took a glimpse at a Graham Norton interview with the guys, and had to turn it off after a couple of sentences, Bono was so annoying, and it was a fun appearance, no politics, just casual banter), I think I may be over them actually.

funny you say that.  After my 3rd show, I decided while I loved the shows, I had had enough.  Resold tix to my other 2 shows.  I have been wondering how much U2 I have left in me.  Bono is definitely the reason.  We'll see what happens if and when they can make another great album.  My expectations are muted.

Sounds like you spent many hours listening to the performances.

You can't beat the live experience though.  It was their best show since Elevation and I'm glad I got to see the show in person.
