I saw 4 shows and didn't regret anything. Loved every minute and was worth the money. I did find the seats expensive if they come back to Montreal definitely going for GA tickets and red zone. My seats were excellent but 300.00 a seat were a bit over the price. Still worth it I had 4 great nights met people from all around the world. Now I am waiting for the new album and tour.

I don't regret the money my work spent for me to fly to Europe. Not one bit.

Ah to be a cog in the corporate machine.

Well I flew to London and watched west ham first, so it wasn't all devoid of frustration

Did you put the U2 tickets down as expenses for 'staff morale' and the West Ham ticket down for 'employee character building?'

I flew to Vancouver from Europe to see the first two shows , stayed 10 days. Vancouver is a great city. Something very special about the 1st show, I'll never forget when they first took the stage. Then saw them in Barcelona - great show and lastly in Dublin ... Dublin was particularly special, but I loved every show - I estimate I spent - around 4000 euros on this tour ... I don't regret one cent. Wished I saw more of them ...   I see some of the best bands in the world live ... U2 are on a completely different level...

The price for a seat is so high. Just hope that next leg the prices won't be like that.

I now wish that I saw three shows on the last tour provided I only wanted to pay for the ticket and the petrol to and from the local venue, but U2 didn't play any North of England shows so travelling to London and/or paying for overnight accommodations etc would have cost me hundreds of pounds more.  I don't understand why they didn't play a couple of North of England shows because they played two nights in Glasgow.

Only regret is waiting so long to buy MSG tickets, then being forced to pay the resale upcharge... Totally worth it, but would've preferred to pay face value... Lesson learned...

It is a pretty safe bet they will be.

Agreed.  U2 and LiveNation are in the business of maximising profits and so long as they can nearly sell out their arena shows they're going to pitch for as much as they think they can get away with, because most people will pay for quality even if they grumble about it.

If they choose to play stadiums on the next legs then I hope they cut ticket prices.

People will pay if they think it is worth it and if they don't they won't...it is individual choice.

I paid 30 for a seat at the o2 (it wasn't marked up as restricted or obstructed view) and i got upgraded at the venue to the 185 (or whatever they were seats, 182 maybe)...

There is no way i would have paid that to see the show....just not worth it for a 2 and a bit hour concert to me...

I also paid 55 (i think it was, maybe 65 or something like that) on other nights to stand and that was just about value in my book..slightly pricey but i didn't baulk at it for what turned out to be decent shows.

For me a bit like the protests at premier league ticket prices i think prices should be lower but i suppose artists will try and get as much as they can.

Put it like this though if it was a case of pay for a 185 seat or not go i wouldn't go.
