Listening to everything I have from U2 post 2014 today and my answer is a strong NO! 3 cities, 9 shows, probably close to $2,000, money very well spent! And I am middle class so it was not chump change to me,

A very small amount spent for me  - 3 shows all a short train and tube ride away from home, no more taxing than a journey to work and the cost absorbed by my existing travelcard....i don't buy the poor quality over priced tat they knock out on the stalls so no spend there - plus on the first night i got moved from my 35 quid seat into a 185 quid (or whatever it was around that price) so that was well worth it....my standing tickets for the other two nights whilst on the pricey side were to decent shows.

Probably spent around 200 in total and the shows were alright.

No complaints - have blown more on a good night on the town before now.

No.

One show @ 100 ticket.

+ Train fare
+ Overnight Hotel
+ Other expenses not related to U2 that I'm not going to go into on here.

I would have been happy to pay 100 for another ticket and see another show, but the logistics for me would have been too much of a palaver.

I did 2 quasi-local shows (Vancouver) and one LA show (cheap flight)... so the answer is no for me.  But I also resold my tix to 2 NYC shows and I am glad I did...  Except for a few setlist changes it would have been the same shows...

The only reason why I do regret the amount of money I spent is because I DIDN'T GET TO SEE ENOUGH SHOWS!

I only saw ONE SHOW (Chicago N5)!!!  Work obligations interfered with me being able to attend Chicago 1-4.  In hindsight, I should've just gone and said to hell with work.  On U2's next NA tour I will definitely not let work stand in my way.

I also had tickets for MSG 3 (7/22) for me and my wife, but a wedding in her family caused our NYC trip to be cancelled.  IIRC it was a pretty standard setlist.  The only unique thing about that show would've been Jimmy Fallon & The Roots.

Don't regret the amount of $, but what bothers me is the lousy seats I had for that amount of $.

Regret? No, but the band definitely should'nt have made any statements about doing 2 different shows. The experience of seeing U2 2 days in a row was cool.

An emphatic no and if oil prices hadn't have gone in the tank I would have spent more. Best concerts since Elevation.

For me, it was cheaper than I expected. I got a refund for the cancelled show in Stockholm. They were expensive seats!

I went to both Phoenix shows in May, and don't regret one single penny. And, trust me, like most people, I really couldn't afford it. But I WILL do it again when they return. I have zero interest in seeing any other band at this point in my life...only U2. It is one of a very few things that I treasure, and keeps me hanging on in this crazy world. The spiritual uplift that these guys and their shows give me...priceless!

that is too bad missey.  Are you saying the value was poor compared with other bands' pricing?  or with past U2 tours?  or just in general?
