Australian tour theory
« on: January 05, 2017, 03:50:53 AM »
This isn't based in any fact or rumour just a prediction.
We know u2's going on tour this year, i'm banking on U2 being in Australia around November for 1 simple reason.
November 22 marks 20 years since the death of INXS singer Michael Hutchence, I'm tipping they tour Australia around this time with a heavy emphasis on Michael Hutchence, maybe even a full INXS cover (i'd freak out if they did a 'Good Times'duet with Jimmy Barnes)
U2 always seem to come to Aus in Nov/Dec, the more i think about it the more probable it seems
I remember their last Aussie interview on 60 minutes, they spoke quite a bit about Hutchence.

So waddya reckon, should we start booking flights and hotels?

This won't happen. Michael Hutchence? No.

I think there are two possibilities:

a) JT Tour in spring 2017
b) u2ieTour in 2018

Good luck!
