Realistic setlist and interesting thought on this tour
« on: January 24, 2017, 09:31:45 PM »
So when you look at The Joshua Tree track listing one thing always stands out: the big songs are all towards the beginning of the album which is true like most albums. With that said I don't think we will be seeing Streets open the shows. Instead we will be seeing it close the shows. They will play the Joshua Tree in almost backwards running order. Mothers would segue nicely into Exit. Running to Stand Still has always segued into Bullet. The only thing I'd switch around would be Haven't Found and With or without you then go into 40 segue into Streets to end the show.

Ideal setlist and I'm going to stay realistic with this

1 City of Blinding Lights
2 I will Follow / out of control
3 electric co / gloria
3 Beautiful Day
4 Vertigo
5 Pride
6 New Years Day
7 Until The End of the World
8 Sunday Bloody Sunday
9 Mysterious Way
10 Every Breaking Wave
11 Bad
12 One
(break)
13 Mothers
14 Exit
15 One Tree Hill
16 Trip Through Your Wires
17 In God's Country
18 Red Hill Mining Town
(break)
19 Running To Stand Still
20 Bullet
21 Still Haven't Found
22 With or Without You
23 40
24 Streets

There's not a lot of room for SOI or SOE from a realistic point of view. I don't think they'll be playing any new material unless they release a single in may. Tour ends right before bonos august French vacation where he'll tease a song. Then there's the apple event in September...
