elevation Tour: Boston and Slane Castle
Vertigo Tour: Chicago and Milano

For this tour it would be a great idea make two DVD's one in America and one in Europe

SO!!!

San Diego Sounds great... but according with Paul Mcguinnes not at Petco Park (no baseball stadiums) it would be at Qualcomm Stadium... I vote for San Diego!!! Just imagine...  "On the Horizon 2009 //  U2 Live From San Diego"

And in Europe I like London or Paris...

This is a perfect thread for:  they should film it in (insert hometown concert city)

But I would love to see them film it in Dublin !  Or any place in Europe.  If it's an American city then It's gotta be somewhere like Montreal  ;D

They should film in South America, if they go there.  The crowd there seems more energetic and into the show more than US crowds.

Dallas. Because we have a nice brand spankin' new stadium. They'll still be able to smell the fresh paint when they get there because it'll be so new.  ;D

Now that the 360 tour has been announced I think there is an amazing choice.  The MCG (melbourne cricket ground) in Melbourne Australia is a circular stadium with three tiers that holds 100,000 people.  U2 played there on the ZooTV tour and if they announce an Australian leg, I hope it would be included again.

The new stage in the middle of this stadium would be a sight to behold.  I have posted a link to some photos of the stadium.

Also, hopefully they film at least two concerts for a DVD release this time, or at least broadcast a concert on tv like they did in Sao Paulo on the Vertigo tour.

I vote Vancouver! 60,000 people rocking BC Place would make a great DVD!

Of course, I guess I am biased, but who isn't!

Tampa because that's where I am.

And I know they were blown away by the crowd on the last two tours.  I think they remember the poor showing for POPMart.

Plus Raymond James is one of the best stadiums out there.  How cool would it be to see the Bucs' pirate ship in the background?

Please not the US again
Would have to be Europe or South America (if they go there in 2010)
Crowds actually get into the music
US audiences are a tough crowd to please

Ha, MacPhisto beat me to it.

Tampa is the obviously the best choice. You'll have a monstrous spider-like space ship at one end of the field, and a 100' wooden pirate ship at the other. This incongruous juxtaposition of old-meets-new creates the sort of rich visual tapestry that U2 are known for and strive to capture in their live shows.

Or... something like that.

Plus, I'll be there!
