That's absolutely crazy... we finished watching that movie in my Biology class today, Zero! And not 15 minutes ago I rewatched the ending on YouTube because I may or may not having been paying attention...

Speaking of Ultraviolet (Light My Way), it was also brilliantly used in The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.  A top ten U2 track for me.

About a Boy, with Hugh Grant.
A boy ringing the doorbell at the same beat of Zoo Station intro is really fun.

Good scene in Brothers where Bad from Wide Awake in America is being played in the background and they actually talk about the song at one point in the scene. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I also recall North Star in one of the Transformers films though I don't think it could be counted as one of the best moments of a U2 song in a  film You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

A rarity in that this song actually feels like it belongs with the imagery.

Kudos for the mentions of About A Boy (my favourite use of U2) and Diving Bell...

Wow. That mix of North Star really changes my opinion on a song I thought was terrible in its live form.

Not a film but I loved how 'Running To Stand Still' was effectively used during the final scene of one episode of the US TV drama series 'Brothers And Sisters'. I know they featured some other U2 songs during other episodes too but can't remember which, off-hand.

For me, so many to choose from, but I'd have to go with "This is a song Charles Manson stole from the Beatles, we're stealing it back" ......oh wait ..... U2 movies don't count?

In that case, put me down for the intro to in the name of the father
