How do you think this will bode for the setlist?

  • You can swallow, or you can spit.
Whatever the setlist is the show or two before on their JT tour minus all the deep cuts from TJT.

So effectively if you say everything apart from Streets, WOWY, ISHF and BTBS off JT won't get played then that would probably trim set down to around 90 mins maybe with 1 or 2 other omissions.

Ditch side 2 of TJT and any LP tracks, plus a row of hits either side.

Pretty sure I saw promotional materials for Bonnaroo that also said JT played in full, like the rest of the tour.  If they are the last slot of the night on that stage, they could play longer.

I wonder how it will feel for U2 to start a show at 11pm.

You can also see how many fans have added each band to their own schedule.  I just did a quick check of the 3 headliners.  Here is how they ran as of 5/6/17 around 2:30pm:

Red Hot Chili Peppers - 1300+fans
The Weeknd - 1100 + fans
U2 - 800+ fans

  • 2017 Concerts: Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit
Just because they're allotted 90 minutes, it doesn't mean they'll stick to it. For all we know, they could play closer to a 2 hour set since concerts tend to run over, anyhow.

Yup. U2 have the lowest "fan" count of any act in those top 2 rows. Not sure how accurate of a metric that is though when it comes to actual attendance...

Considering they are the only band playing at that time (save for a DJ show), I'm sure most will check them out.

Does anyone know if Bonnaroo is going to have a livestream of any sort?

They usually do each year however I doubt more than a song or two from U2's set. Seriously doubt Guy would allow a complete webcast of their set.

Still think they'll play the full album, they're nicely rehearsed on it anyway
