It'd be kinda cool if they did the gold lines like on TJT and UF, since they say keep saying there's so many similarities from that time period and today.

Like I said, I think we've seen the cover.

The cover, if that Eli/Sian image is the cover, will be only marginally better than SOI.

i think the cover they teased is rather dull and unimaginative. i know they're trying to fit into the themes of the Blake poems, but still- looks like a pair of amish hipsters.

I dont lkke the 'kids holding hands' cover either. I would rather have something futuristic/non-themed.
I dont really like personal musiclike 'Iris'. Just cannot relate to it as its Bonos life. AB and JT were none personal so you could dream your own dreams to the music.

I wouldn't mind an actual color photograph. With the exception of October and the 3 '90s albums, every U2 album has a black and white pic on the cover.

I think it's supposed to be a throwback kind of image. Like boy and war. She's wearing a combat helmet

U2 looking backwards? Now that is uncharacteristic!  ;D

For a band who have used some incredible visuals in their live shows their album artwork has been consistently boring and dull throughout their career.

Ultimately the music is what really matters but they really have been guilty of a lot of uninspiring covers down the years IMO.

Outside of October, Bomb and SOI I liked all the covers. For all we know that boy/girl image might be a single cover and not an album cover ?

Love it or hate it, that's going to be the cover. If you don't like it, go ahead and take the time now to get your head around it and get used to it. This is a two-part thing. SOI featured Larry's son, this is going to feature two of Bono and Edge's kids, and maybe just maybe Young Lord Clayton will be on the cover of Songs Of Ascent. Of course, by the time they release it, that child will probably be grown with kids. :)

I mean, honestly, y'all: That image was put onscreen at shows, and they used a version of it for the mailer this past week. THAT's the cover.

What's the symbolism of this artwork? Are they suggesting Adam's brain is under construction?
