e & i vs. i & e
« on: May 21, 2018, 12:11:36 PM »
Without giving anything away, I can say that I "get" the e & I tour narrative much more than the i & e tour narrative.  In fact, I'm not sure I ever "got" the i & e tour narrative, i.e. I'm not sure I ever felt the transition from innocence to experience, etc.  However, on this tour, I definitely feel the longing to return to innocence.  All of the songs in the set list make sense in that context.  And the bit of stagecraft at the end (during '13') is heart-breaking.  It puts a nice bow on the show.  Thoughts?
