Larry looks the youngest. The others...not so much. Edge is balding, Adam is graying, and Bono, well he just looks older.

U2 have always chosen interesting enemies, and not the most obvious ones for a rock & roll band. Age is now one of their greatest enemies.

For some reason in popular music and in society at large we have a culture that insists that when you get into your 30's, that you cease to be an interesting person who has anything of value to say. That notion only rings true because of a stereotype of so many bands getting into music for the wrong reason and/or burning out because they lit the candle at both ends.

I think as long as you avoid stagnation, or living in a state of rest where you don't believe you can evolve further, then you have something very interesting to say as an artist. Not giving in to life's challenges provides the 'fire in the belly' that can keep artists inspired to create.

If painters, movie directors, poets, musicians in other genres can continue their creativity into their later years then why does it have to be true that popular musicians cannot. it's bo****ks. But, in order to destroy this perception the stereotype must be destroyed. And, society, marketing and media must foster an importance in a culture beyond teenager kiddie-pop culture. There needs to be a renaissance, an awakening in how people value art, music, and culture in their daily lives. Currently we are all cannibals of culture. U2 are fighting against all of this.

U2 have rarely been considered cool or trendy, so they don't really have the pressure of staying hip or anything. They have amassed a huge fan base, plus they're still a good band. So I think they can stay big for a while yet. That doesn't concern me too much though, I just want them to keep making good music.

I'd say Adam!

Larry looks the youngest but Adam's the one that's aging graciously.

Bono? Lose the eye-liner, sorry I meant guy-liner.

I think Larry is aging the least, but Adam is aging the best.

Exactly what I was thinking!

Poor Bono....  :-[   The drink & fine dining are catching up with him too and he needs to work out more!

who looks the best shirtless
who looks the best with a shirt on
who is the hottest
who would you go gay for (someone said that around here)
and everything else - the answer when it comes to looks will always be Larry

Larry,Edge and Bono are all fathers..so justifiably thats gotta put 5-10yrs on yah.
Larry I think is the biggest smoker...and these past years you can see that in his face..
Adam I think still smokes...but I think seems to be aging gracefully..also he doesnt drink now..that must help.
Once upon a time Bono didnt need the shades ..but alas now I think he does 8) 8)
