Guilty Pleasures
« on: November 17, 2008, 06:59:41 AM »
Time for some more public humiliation.  What's the one song on your ipod that's a guilty pleasure, something you hope your friends never know about, but you love to hear?  I will offer myself up to ridicule by telling you that I have The Carpenters 'Rainy Days and Mondays' on mine.  (Quit laughing! her voice is beautiful!)  Anyone else feeling brave?

Avril Lavigne's "Under My Skin" album. (Back before she turned into the same mindless pop that everyone else is singing nowadays)

Yooper, I love Karen Carpenter. She was the first girl I saw in a group who played the drums. I thought it was so cool.  She did have a beautiful voice.  So sad to have lost her so young.  Anyway, my guilty pleasure song is "Wishing on a Star" by the great Rose Royce!!

I think at this point I will have to go with Shakira's "Underneath your clothes"  ;)
