Let Your Love Be Known
« on: March 19, 2020, 05:54:55 AM »
Hello! How are you?

Yesterday I listened to this new song. What a nice thing to do! What are your thoughts about it?

I heard Lou Reed and John Lennon - let's see if I change my mind later on. I think it has a huge potential after a U2 studio recording. I found some chord changes really beautiful.

Take care!

Nice gesture. The song has potential. If Bono is playing the piano someone else is holding the camera and is probably drunk!

Sounds like a great start to a song but a long way to go. But powerful feel and lyrics in a time they are needed. If U2 are reading I will gladly volunteer to be the next camera guy ;)

It's not Bono who plays the piano. It's one of his sons. So it's Bono with the shaky camera.

It's now a song featuring Will.iam and Jennifer Hudson.

What's everyone think???

No other source apart from the u2songs article, quoting will.i.am, mentioning Bono's son is playing the piano. It is my assumption that Bono is holding the camera.

By the way I really like will.i.am's version.

Certainly is an improvement. Catchy simple melody.
Deserves a proper studio version now. A charity single perhaps?

It's great and classic Bono---shows a lot of heart!  I find myself humming the melody.

I have saved the original and am now listening to the other version with several artsits. Potential, potential (sorry, Pierce Morgan).

I particularily enjoy it when the rythm comes in, and one sees [what looks like] a mother and a child (presumably) playing the tamborine and dancing, magnified by yet anther neighbour in a window - also with a tamborine (sorry for the Spelling?) with a couple filmimg it. And the elderly Lady dancing on her own! Wonderful!

I am sending this tune, along with the original, to all I know in these scary times.

Take care and be extremely careful!
