Credit from Ticketmaster?
« on: April 01, 2009, 09:48:08 AM »
So I was checking my bank statement today and I received a $1.68 credit from "TM U2".  I bought four tix last week in the presale.  A friend who also bought during the presale received a $1.26 credit.

Small, but anyone else getting it and have any idea why?

Wow, how generous of Ticketmaster. I guess they decided $50 in fees was too much. $48 is more reasonable.

LOL!!  Isn't that the truth.  What really eats me up is that with all those stinking "convenience" and "processing" fees, they can't even print up some cool looking tickets for us over here like they do in Europe.  Just those standard crappy piece-of-garbage dot-matrix printed blue abominations...

I saw that if you bid on an TM auction ( not Ticketsnow), then they charge & refund $1. but don't know if that's applicable.

Sometimes they do that to verify that your credit card/debit card info is correct before they run the whole transaction.

They just do that to prove if the account is legitimate and real. Enjoy those few pennies though! :)
