I'm thinking of selling my children if it comes to that.  (Just kidding!  Don't want the authorities kicking my door down tomorrow!)  Three smart attractive children, not too good around the house, but they know all the words to all U2 songs, and can even do the Boom-cha dance.  Will trade for tickets!

What about "Will trade tall fairly attractive, 30 something husband for front row tickets.  Did I mention he cooks AND cleans / does laundry?"

There's always prostitution. ;)

jdfu!

Is it technically illegal if no money changes hands? An interesting legal dilemma...

And moral, I guess.

WOW! Why would you want to let go of a husband like that?  :o  I'm sure there are other less useful things you can trade!
A husband who cooks, cleans, does laundry AND is attractive happens once in a millennium.

I'm thinking of bringing my bass, dressing up as Adam, and attempting to get in the back way at the next concert... Not quite sure how that'll go over, seeing as I'm female... But it's worth a shot, right?  ;)

Absolutely! Everything is worth a shot once, well, almost everything.

Don't pretend to be him; instead, claim to be the "standby". The "reserve". Just in case he goes all Bill Berry or something.

^ LOL

I have $1200 saved up (barring any emergency with my car or the house - you know like, having to replace the clutch or the water heater or something).  Wondering if it's enough for 3 shows (one local, two out of town).  Probably gonna have to get scalped tix for at least one of those.  >:(

ETA: OOH!  I can't forget hotels, merchandise, etc.   Sigh.

Hair, I'm seriously considering selling my hair. You can get good money if your hair is healthy and in natural color.
The bad thing is they cut it very close to the skin.

I've got a feeling that tickets aren't going to be quite as much $$$ as we've feared. They have to be looking at Metallica and Madonna each doing recent US shows to 60% or less of venue capacity in some US cities.

I have a few friends who did it, if you look good with very short hair it's not a big deal, hair grows back.

I have been thinking about this for a while.  I started a piggy bank over the summer. I put all my spare change in there and hope I have enough for the show.  (my brother did this and he saved $500)  I wait tables so I always have spare change.
One of my really good friends, she is much younger than I and has never seen them in concert (she doesn't know yet how much she is going to enjoy it)  Well she laughs at me because I am asking if anyone would like to contribute to my U2 fund.
The tricky part is to get them to come to my city, then it would be more feasible.

Oh! Genius idea here...

U2 Bake Sale! So corny, it's brilliant.

Picture it: Bono Bars, Larry Mullen Muffins, Adam Clayton Caramels... um... I'm out of ideas for Edge...  :-[
