5 years seems like nothing seeing it lol. Hit them high notes when I read that.

That's partly because it's 4.3 years, but point taken.

I make that 74 days from now; -7 for lead single, -28 minimum for radio airing and that'll be...still quite some time. Damn.

No ... the first single will be released to radio some 2 months prior to the album release.

Maybe they'll even air it around Christmas :) but at least early January.

Trust me.

Bono looks good!  :D
They all look good, must admit on Vertigo tour Larry and Adam were showing their age a bit, but bizarrely they now seem to  look younger, it's amazing what 100 zillion dollars does for you !!  loool

Yea I have to agree on Larry and Adam. Larry just needed to get rid of the long slick hair, wasnt looking to good. Did I miss it in here, but when will the single be out and ready on itunes Im guessin?

Maybe that rumor about Feb 23 is the actual release for the single?  That would sound about right. I'm guessing between the end of December and late January we'll hear the single.

I thought the details of the single would be included, but they're apparently gonna milk this for all it's worth. Should be at least one more announcement coming, if not more.

You know... I don't think you can really count it as 5 odd years between albums.

The tour ended in December 2006. So you count 2007 and 2008 that they actually put work into the album... It's really 2 years more or so.

Well at least they made that one. It is U2 after all. If it had been much more detailed than it was I might have thought it was fake ;). Ah well, more reason to check this great site like 200 times a day.

Did you notice on U2.com that the item says, "with additional production assistance from Steve Lillywhite?" When did he come back onto the scene? Or is he the closer for every U2 album?

Atty Club also has that across a fair few songs, as does Achtung Baby, so whilst he hasn't technically produced anything other than Hurtdarb since 1983 he's always there, seemingly, and is now on Enloth.
