BTW, what does "lenticular" mean?

Oh, and the band is old enough to be grandparents now...I'll pass on a naked shot of them.

I thought you were just into lentils.   :D

I could draw a picture, but it would be pretty crap because I only have MS Paint, if I had photoshop I could make a decent one.

Yeah, I want something as artistic and creative as the cover of Zooropa.  :)

Like I said a picture of the horizon that is inverted and smudged and distorted.  :D

I liked the Zooropa face because it was iconic...back then, if you saw a Zooropa Face, you knew it was U2. It was the same with the Joshua Tree! No words were Necessary...if you saw a Joshua Tree, you knew it was U2... I hope we get something like that again!

That would be amazing, its about time U2 got creative again, the covers for the past two albums were just pictures of the band.

I would also be disappointed if we get another band shot on the cover. If the music is as adventurous as U2 are saying then you would expect the album cover to reflect this like Achtung Baby did. Another band shot like the last two albums and i feel that's what we will get musically another album not dissimilar to the last two.
So here's hoping for some wild n wacky design on the cover and the same for the music.

What if they already showed us the album cover in that odd u2.com video of sea and sky with no line on the horizon?

I think it would be funny if it was a picture with a very defined line on the horizon. Like the (Moroccan?) town in the back of the pub. photo.

Or, it could be just black. Like, how much more black could this album cover be? And the answer would be none. None more black.

It probably won't be anything like what any of us are thinking, but what I wouldn't want to see is a literal representation of the album title. I think that would be kind of dumb. I hope they go with something almost irrelevant that has no obvious connection with what No Line on the Horizon means, and instead create something that makes you question what the album cover is trying to say and what it means to you. While it is a title that evokes some beautiful imagery, it also seems to want to be open to interpreation. I hope they find the right balance.

Think You can do that???  (Maybe?)

---

Anyway-, for some reason I hope the album cover looks something like Boston's Walk On album cover (just type in 'Boston Walk On' on Google images)  Or U2 could make something like Edge playing his Les Paul on a spaceship guitar hovering over the earth (kinda like Bostons third stage album cover) with the horizon in the distance and edge's guitar on fire as he is playing it and the other 3 band members stumbling over each other as they try and run away from him on top of this guitar spaceship...hence the term term "Edge is on fire!" ...It could happen-
