Just for the record, I love this song. It just surprised me. And Bono's coughing and swearing at the start came out of the blue. :)

Must've been some big ar*e phlegm ball.  ;)

Not sure it was really out of the blue though, since he did it at every show.

Well, let's see here. I was three during the PopMart tour. Hence, I didn't go. When I watched the concert film, that surprised me.

I'm sorry, that's no excuse.  ;)  ;)

There, I put 2 wink dudes in this time. Hence,  it's a joke. (maybe one wink isn't enough anymore?)

That song fit with Popmart.  If it was played during Elevation or even Vertigo, it wouldn't make sense.  That's probably why we never heard from it again.

It would have made sense just fine in the ZooTV set, they justs dind't have the balls to play it.

Some of the lyrics were written during Zooropa, and Bono even cited them during an interview on Australian tv but it wasn't recorded until it was featured on the Batman Forever soundtrack.

Plus, the title is written on the front of the Zooropa album, so it must have existed in some form.

7. What are those letters you can barely read on the cover of Zooropa?

The letters in purple are parts of the titles of various U2 songs that the band had apparently been working on.

Line 2 - WAKEUPDE - Wake Up Dead Man
    Line 3 - WANDER - The Wanderer
Line 4 - ISSMEKILLM - Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
Line 5 - ETDRESS - If You Wear That Velvet Dress

Only "The Wanderer" appears on Zooropa. The other songs were released later in the 90s.

It might have existed, but what's the point of playing a song that no one has heard?

Always thought it was "F*ck this!"

Me too, especially since it sounded like he was at war with an amphibian in his windpipe.

Extremely well put JT94!

Thank you for the link, Briscoetheque. I shall stare at my Zooropa cover later and look.
