It came out on the 31st of December.....but I couldn't find it so I presume it will be out on New Years Day.

Must be coz I looked yesterday (31st) and it wasnt in - kind of unusual for Q because when I get it it usually appears a few days before the end of the year. Maybe its this 2009 is going to be our year stuff?

I think Q literally wanted their magazine to start with a bang - no - an atomic bomb (pun intended). So they stuck with New Years Day (again, pun intended  ;D)

'Q' magazine album reviews are always one of the first I read, along with NME. From what I remember these are the marks they have given for the last few U2 albums.

'Q'

AB          5 stars  (out of 5)
Z            4 stars
P            3 stars
ALYCLB    4 stars
HTDAAB   4 stars

'NME'

AB          7  (out of 10)
Z            6
P            ?
ATYCLB   7
HTDAAB   9

Lets hope 'No Line' gets five stars and a 10.

It goes to show that when it comes to making consistently good albums, U2 is the band to go to  ;)

I don't understand why it's a February edition when it's January  ??? ??? ??? ???

They are allways dated as month ahead! I think it is a time zone thing, ie the February issues may come out in the USA in February!

Thats just a theory...

It's a psychological sales tool...it seems like you are getting something before you should and it increased your urge to buy it. That's also why we are able to buy cars for the next model year months before that year actually comes about.

Is anyone else as excited as I am with Q's description of "Moment of Surrender"?

A "seven-minute epic recorded in a single take"? Sounds familiar...  :)
