Bad, Bad, Bad is good, good, good!  Yay!!!
 :)

I agree! Bad is excellent!

I am praying for a segue between Unknown Caller and Bad.  A segue in either direction would be brilliant!

I'm glad to see Bad up in the running. It's one of my favorite U2 songs and one of the few that I haven't gotten to hear live yet. Fingers crossed!

How about an acoustic version of MOFO?  I know...that might be ridiculous.

I'm imagining that...Larry could play the bodhran and tambourine! :P With Adam on upright bass and Edge on mandolin/banjo... ::)

I agree with many that there needs to be something from Pop.  This is a great album.  We need Gone or Please or even Do You Feel Loved.  Not to mention Staring at the Sun and If God Will Send His Angels.
How great would MOFO be under "The Claw"
Just some thoughts.
Love everything else that's being rehearsed...especially Drowning Man and Ultraviolet.

Still no POP songs.  U2 are definitely on the right track and just as I predicted before the start of the tour.

Cheers,

J

That's a shame. I'd love to hear Last Night on Earth or Do You Feel Loved bursting from the Claw. Or Mofo, or Discotheque, or Gone...or any song off Pop, come to think of it. Yes, including Miami.

No doubt on the Pop tracks.  We need some of those songs.

I am sorry there is no sign of an October song. I know I am in the minority here!  I was just thinking that a short medley of Tomorrow into Sometimes You Can't Make it on Your Own would be a really nice tribute to both Bono's parents and anyone that has lost a mother and/or father.  Just a thought.

Agreed! Although a full version of Tomorrow would be better. Great song and better than Sometimes... imo.

I'm curious why there aren't any sound samples or clips from the rehearsals.
If people can hear it, why don't they tape it?

I cream my pants every time I see that they're rehearsing Ultraviolet.  I hope to God that they keep it in their setlist until Vancouver. ;D

The U2 Barcelona website is running the complete rehearsal setlists starting from the first day.  The most surprising thing to me is that for the days where complete concert setlists are listed, U2 has compiled a running list of at least 23 songs for each rehearsal.  We don't know if they will be able to perform at least 23 songs per concert but it would be a pleasant surprise.  Honestly I thought they would only perform 20-21 songs per show night, and then call it a day.

I like the fact that they might lead off with 4 songs from NLOTH.  As has been mentioned already, just throw in 1 or 2 songs from Pop and Zooropa and the setlist is practically perfect.  "Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car" could lead into "Ultraviolet" and "The Wanderer" could get thrown in somewhere.
