Red Rocks Set List
« on: October 16, 2008, 04:59:36 AM »
Just my opinion, but i think the Red Rocks set would have been better thus: (bear in mind I Fall Down isn't on the DVD because there was a technical fault)

I Will Follow
Twilight
An Cat Dubh
Into The Heart
Surrender
Seconds
October
New Years Day
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Two Hearts beat As One
Cry/Electric Co
I Threw A Brick
A Day Without Me
I Fall Down
Gloria
Out Of Control

11 O'Clock Tick Tock
Party Girl
40

What do you all think? ...

I see what you are saying, but I think the natural flow works for what it was at the time.
Just my opinion

i think the original setlist works really well.iv'e got a few shows off this tour where they open with out of control and straight away it gets the crowd going.i think they preferred to use i will follow as a song later in the set to pick things up again.i will follow was used on later tours as a rowdy get the crowd going early song ie joshua tree tour, popmart.

I like the tour as a whole just fine. But that arrangement of 'I Will Follow' was a sucky idea

its one of the tours where i can't remember much about the show really apart from edge singing the kareoke version of singing in the rain and the fact it was pi**ing down all day :P t nothing really stood out for me to say it was a great show

The PoPMart Tour was brilliant. But I agree with you on this. MOFO live was absolutely amazing, and all the momentum they created in the concert opener was destroyed by that pi*s weak version of I will follow.
