Rapture by Blondie. The song mentions "Fab Five Freddy". Was Keith Haring in the video?

Which 80s pop group had a name inspired by a Roxy Music song?

I believe the answer is Ladytron (?)  Oh and the artist in the Blondie video is Jean Michel Basquiat (Keith Haring's friend!). The song also mentions Grandmaster Flash (Flash is cool) 8)

This is kind of easy but here goes:
Name the 3 bands that musician Vince Clark was a driving force behind.

He was a former Cure roadie (I think) who started the short lived band Presence with Tolhurst and Dempsey, two of the founding members of the Cure.

I believe the answer is Ladytron (?)

I was thinking of Bananarama, a name inspired by Roxy Music's Pyjamarama.

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question.  :-[

He is "Pod" the Virgin Prunes drummer who also acted as a roadie for U2. It is nice to see this thread get some life back in it. I always loved this one!!

I really should have known that...I will never be able to face my Virgin Prunes LPs again...I will have to look away in shame.

Sorry, Dark Angel. Two-part question.

Q: Who wrote "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town"? And, what war would the narrator have served in?

Oh!  I know this one:  Janis Joplin!

My sister is a huge LC fan!

Darn, I need a question....

Okay, super easy:  Which musician has been part of two influential bands coming out of the 90's?

*Hint:  He played different instruments for each band*

Is that Rush? I think so.

It's late so I'll leave with this on a quick thought-

What are the names of the two original Pretenders who died of drug overdoses and who both had relationships with Chrissie Hynde?
