I have to say it, Bono looks like a creep with the eyeliner on. I would rather him stick with the sunglasses, or just nothing at all

I think the eyeliner would look better if he grew his hair out longer

AnyTintin fans out there?  My son said Bono looked like scary Thompson and Thompson with the bowler hat.

He's trying to expert with different looks but I have to agree with Revolver7 that it would be better if his hair was longer....and agree with everyone else that eyeliner is off-putting. It reminds me Alex from that weird film A Clockwork Orange >.<

Yeah, I definitely think he's going for the Alex look.  Maybe he shoulda worn white though.

a lot off topic, but is your username named after the Beck album "Odelay"? that is a really good one.

Little disappointed the rest of the band didn't change their look even a little, after 9 years.
Eyeliner or not, I think Bono has to get rid of the glasses. I think he looks better with his hair longer, although I thought he looked cool in the Pop era with it short- I think being older, a receding hairline, and with extra pounds, it's harder for him to pull either one off.
Having said all that, however, I think he still looks cool.
