Little disappointed the rest of the band didn't change their look even a little, after 9 years.
Eyeliner or not, I think Bono has to get rid of the glasses. I think he looks better with his hair longer, although I thought he looked cool in the Pop era with it short- I think being older, a receding hairline, and with extra pounds, it's harder for him to pull either one off.
Having said all that, however, I think he still looks cool.

It's funny but I think Bono and Gavin do things together. They both shaved their longer hair off at the same time. Both are releasing albums shortly. I swear they wear those same creepers on their feet ;D.  Oh well, I guess that's what best pals often do!

I LIKE IT VERRY MUCH :)
It's better than sunclasses and something different. But really I don't care. I just care about the music. If he likes it ..

I don't personally see the eyeliner going very far unless perhaps it's a persona that will appear on the tour.  it looks like the creepers are gone except for meet and great occasions as he's sporting the same brownish looking boots in the photoshoot that he's had on the last few "out and about" pics I've seen. As for the rest for the boys , when you find a look that works you stick to it especially at this stage of their careers.  If you try to "hip up" too much you can look silly doing it..............this coming from an age contemporary of the band

Actually I think most of Pop's songs may come back with a vengenance considering they have spent 4/5 years since the last record and re-hired the old U2 production trio of Eno, Lanois and Lillywhite; a possiblity of them re-mixing the songs again. Some of the songs from the last tour have been used extensively (e.g. Beautiful Day ahead of Discotheque - both number #1s in UK but the latter was ignored during the past 2 tours) and the set-list may need a drastic shape up.

I definitely want Staring At the Sun, Lemon, Ultraviolet and Numb to make a comeback  8)

I don't think Bono could do the falsetto on "Lemon" anymore...but it would still be cool to hear it live again!

Unless Bono sings it differantly, I don't see him doing the falsetto either.
