Do we have to buy this crappy magazine as well because Rolling Stones has completely lost it's credibility.  :-\

Well its not too bad at keeping with mainstream music...which has also lost credibility in recent years.

Rolling Stone has been around for a long time; i think the magazine has plenty of credibility ;). The reason why it's article may seem a little inaccurate is because it was written based on the stage u2's new songs were at in December. Q's interview is more recent and more in depth.
But as we all know, u2 tend to change things up dramatically and frequently before they release a new album. I don't think that this is a matter of Rolling Stone losing its credibility. Although, they gave Kings of Leon's new album ONLY 3 stars which does make me wonder....

shoulda given it 2.....

RS always does this, they gave U2 some pretty mediocre reviews back in the day, and then revisionist-history changing their minds 20 years later.

They'll give it 5 in a few years when they do a retrospective, but really, not worth any more than 2 !

Given that "Get Your Boots On" appears on that list twice, I wouldn't give it too much credence.  :P

I'd say stick with Q, because to me also RS have lost their credibility due to they added "comedy" to Stand Up and they said Winter was discarded.  :P

Oh, no, "Get Your Boots On" isn't on twice, the other one is "Get On Your Boots"...like their going to make two different songs entitled something that close, right....by the way, which is it exactly? "Get Your Boots On" or "Get On Yours Boots"?

Weren't they both done in December?  This being the beginning of January, that seems really recent.

12 or 14 tracks... i still want to believe it is gonna be a double album, between 16 and 19 songs. i dunno how much credibility to give the news about the new u2 album here on @u2, but if you look at he different formats that are gonna be released it says, for the vinyl, that there is gonna be 2 discs. how can you only put 12 songs on 2 vinyl records?
