Question about Sheffield show
« on: August 24, 2009, 09:06:36 AM »
I am not only a U2 fan, but I am also a Def Leppard fan. I found out via a DL website that Bono sang a snippet of Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me during the song Vertigo during the Sheffield, England show. I tried to find something out about this on a couple of U2 sites but nothing is mentioned. Is this true? This is the link to the DL website that I am talking about:

It's mentioned here also, the snippet came after "Vertigo" apparently.

If I remember right, during the part of the song that normally goes "checkmated, hours of fun...." Bono sang the line "Pour some sugar on me" twice, and then once again right at the end of the song.
