It's indeed Sinead O'Connor who sings the falsetto part during YBR on this tour.  Bono calls her out during the performance last night at Giants Stadium.

Aha! the truth comes out  ;)

she does a beautiful job. i was there in chicago the first time the song was played. i can't even describe how incredible that experience was!

I personally loved hearing the song live.  However, I don't think that song is right for that set, or at least that place in the set.

In Charlottesville, they got the crowd TOTALLY pumped up with Elevation, then went into YBR, which totally killed the mood.  Most people didn't know the song, plus the slow tempo of the song seems a better fit for another portion.  Perhaps when they do some of the acoustic or quieter numbers, it would fit well in there, but not between Elevation and New Year's Day.
