(maybe a spoiler) A question about Giants stadium numbers
« on: September 28, 2009, 03:36:47 PM »
i cannot find the thread, but i saw one earlier saying that U2 set a record that night and how they had most people at a concert that night.

then it said, will Springsteen be able to beat them out?

i thought Giants Stadium sold out, if it did, how would he beat them?

it would depend on the configuration of Springsteen's stage.  With the 360 design you can fit a ton of people on the field because the footprint is so small... I say Willie wins this one!

Willie Williams is the guy who designed The Claw.

And Springsteen's stage footprint will very likely be much bigger which will take up more of the field and therefore allow less people on the field...

U2's stage is very unique in that the square footage of it is really rather small compared to the normal big rock show stages, not to mention that they do a true 360 seating arrangement which allows more fans in as well.
