Colin Munroe is Canadian - I'd never heard of him before I saw his video on MuchMoreMusic.

Hahahaha just adding my biast opinion:

I watched all the videos here, and I dont like any of them :P some butchered the U2 songs, others simply werent very good.

Probably that English/Japanese girl did the best cover :)

Its hard not to be so critical, seeing as I love U2 too much XD

Johnny Cash's cover of One is awesome though

I dont know if it was mentioned on this thread or not but I saw on the forum a few months ago, a cover of With or Without You by a few guys with orchestra instruments like a chello and violin I think.  It was amazing

I think it's called "Strung Out on U2" and they have a series of CD's covering all kinds of artists.

That cover of Drowning Man is unbelievable. So, so good.

Here's the Man in Black's cover of One that was mentioned above. Just incredible (I think I actually listen to this more than the original [ducks and runs])...

SARA BAREILLES!!!!  Im not ashamed to admit that this 18 year old guy loves Sara almost as much as U2...she was the first concert I've been to.  I bought a vinyl record of Little Voice, her CD, and got it signed by her!!  Oh man I was sooooo pumped.  Thanks for posting this, Sara is God Part II, aside from Bono

...as a short aside - after listening to that cover of ISHFWILF, I had a quick scan through youtube for other stuff by this girl (who I hadn't heard of till now!) - here's an absolutely awesome cover of Otis Redding's "Sittin' On the Dock Of The Bay":
