I suspect they do read the main fan sites. I would. It's good to know what your fans think.

I hope they do! They better!  >:( We spend our lives talking about them, listening to their music and dreaming about them at night. We name our childen, pets and ice-cream flavors after them. The least they can do from time to time is to take a look at our insane ramblings.  ;)

They would probably say:

"Wow! These are our fans!? Well, I think we need to rethink everything and rebuild a new fanbase."  :P

Hi Mr. Edge. Did I ever tell you that you're the bestest guitarist ever? Can I borrow your Rik for the evening?

Ok, dont think I'm crazy, but on the old forum i suggested U2 doing something different something not done before, something live were you feel like you can be there, oh i remember now, i couldnt afford to see a show so I was thinking why not have U2 do a show with the feeling of being there, right in your own livingroom for us poor people fans...I never imagined a 3D movie would come out the next year. I told my sister and she agreed, maybe someone (Like Bono) read it and said, ya know, It Could Work!

I'd like to think I thought up the whole 3D thing, wish I could get the royalties from it.

What would be better for a man's ego than to read about how loved he is??? It's really not that difficult to picture.

If they do read, here is a suggestion:  Please give us a tour that is just you playing your music, nothing too fancy, just you, the music, the history - go way back play your classics and some you dont play (insert here: Unforgettable Fire, Seconds, Like a Song). Dont worry about playing just the new stuff.  Your fans, old and new, want to hear a variety.

Oh, and although I will pay as much as I need to to see you as many times and places that I can, keeping (all )the ticket prices under $100 would beeee reeeeeallly kind and thoughtful. As you said Bono, "You've given us a great life"  We are your fans, we dont mind giving to you for what you have given to us - but we can only sacrifice so much.

And please, PM me and let me know when you are in town. I have always wanted to sit on bar stool next to you and have a pint. Or you can just stop over for a real American BBQ!

I think they do! A while ago I said somewhere on this board the video with 'no line on the horizon' would make a good album cover, and whats the album cover? the same thing.  I should get some roylties!

Perhaps that why they don't come to our cities because they know we will be there!  :-X

How do you guys don't know that one of the members here isn't a member of U2 themselves...?

And that he disguises himself by saying completely random comments that no one would ever link back to The Edge, er, or someone else...

If they do look in, they probably think:
"Wow, all of these people need to find something else to do with their time" or
"Wow, how lucky are we???"
