Indoor leg?  Im looking back at there tours, and Zoo TV had indoor legs, as did the JT tour.  Do you think they will play arenas at all or stick to stadiums?

An indoor leg would require stripping down the claw, not sure if they would do that.  But I would LOVE to see the indoor version.

I think the costs of touring may dictate that only stadiums can be used. I read somewhere that the Claw and tour production cost a fortune every day whether they're performing or not.

If they can take the idea of what they have now, and play in the middle of an arena, it could be great

but then again, no claw

Yeah, once they have finished the summer leg in the US, U2 will announce a 6 month winter indoor leg of the show throughout Continental USA.

Just in case there are some people who've not yet had the opportunity to moan about the lack of a concert < 4mins from their house.

Yeah, they were at least seven minutes from my house, and that's only if traffic is good. I expect them to play my backyard next time around -- and it'll be about freakin' time.   ;D   ;D

G'day AB. Hope all is well in the Great Southern Land.

Absolutely doing a pre-sale. And the ticket will include free parking in front of my house, and grilled chicken and burgers off the backyard barbie. Plus one bottle of Harp per paid entrant. And maybe I'll even rent a frozen margarita machine for the official post-concert party (don't want people too liquored up prior to/during the show, you know!!). Everybody will also get a back-stage tour.

And I've got this cool, sort of elevated patio area along my back wall -- that would be the Red Zone, where I'll be selling those clever T-shirts that say things such as: HAMME(RED), TI(RED), PLASTE(RED), CLOBBE(RED), DEVOU(RED), FATHE(RED), HUMO(RED), IMPAI(RED), LIQUO(RED), NEUTE(RED), PHILANDE(RED), SCO(RED), SUCKE(RED), THOROUGHB(RED), etc. etc.

I've got this whole thing covered, mate. Best backyard party EVAH!!

I give that an "A" for effort, though.

If that did happen, how about: UNTETHE(RED).

Zoo TV moved outdoors as the demand was huge for tickets.
Same with the Joshua Tree.

Both tours started indoor, and then moved outdoor due to popularity, 360 won't be moving indoors. The next chance we will get to see U2 indoors is a long way off, probably 2013 at the earliest, as 2010 is a busy tour year and they have in recent years, been taking up to 3 years off between tours.
