I'm arriving in Rome on Thursday the 7th and then flying home on the Sunday.I got flights with Jet2 and, with taxes, the flight for me & my sister cost 202  :o

I don't need much of an excuse to go to Rome as I love that city, so seeing U2 there will be incredible.I have been to the San Siro to watch AC Milan vs Juventus so I know the Italians are passionate about things they love, so I'm looking forward to one of the best nights of my life  ;D

My sis & I are on the 3:10pm flight which cost just 99p  ;D

The Sistene Chaple is a must so go early to get in line. Also, the artwork inside St.Peter's is just incredible.I'm definitely going to the Pantheon as I didn't have time to see inside on my last trip.

Pizza, ice cream, risotto, Italian beer & wine, the Roma shop---what's not to love about Rome?  ;)

I'm flying from Spain  to Rome a few days after the Coimbra shows, the flights are not available to buy yet so I'll have to wait. I'm leaving the Uk on 22nd September and doing Spain Portugal and Italy in one go, getting home on 11th October it's going to be an amazing trip. I also have Athens and Istanbul to look forward to! I think this is going to be the best summer of my life!!

Hi who did you get the 99p flight with. I'm just wondering if it's worth coming back to the UK for a few days after Coimbra and flying out to Rome from Manchester instead, looks like it could be way cheaper to do that than hang around in Spain for a few days, although a  little beach holiday between shows would be rather nice!

The 99p flight from Manchester was with Jet2 and the return was 24.99.The total cost for the flight, including seat reservations for both legs, was 101.What a great deal, eh?

My concert tickets will be delivered tomorow  ;D

Yeah not bad at all! Although it will cost me less to fly to Rome straight from Spain afterall so I will stick with the original plan. I didn't really want to break the epic journey with having to come back to the Uk anyway.

Exactly!! I tracked the journey my tickets took through the DHL site and I knew, give a day or two, when they would arrive. With Ticketmaster you are left virtually in the dark until the tickets arrive on your doorstep  ::)
