Post by: two hearts on November 20, 2011, 01:47:00 PM
Other musicians on stages with the band
There is some other people playing instruments under the stage ( terry lawless )
But should these's people be on stage
If it mean's that they can play certain song's live that the four of them cant surely that's got to be a good thing  ( WHITE AS SNOW )

What does White As Snow require? The marimba/harp? It's the last song from NLOTH to grow on me, but now I love it deeply. (although I was mildly upset to see that the lyric is "poppies" lie under a crescent moon, not "puppies  ;D)

And the French horn- most beautiful instrument...

Yes, they should be on the stage.

I think it shows more respect for the musicians to have them on stage with the rest of the band.

But U2 decided long ago to present themselves on stage as a 4-piece act and so I don't think they should change now.

Yeah, U2 is an idea. Y'know, the fact that it's them 4 all along is one of the things that make them special. Not session drummer #4 beside french horn player #3. Call me shallow, but it really is the energy that the four of them create for the audience. (and I don't think Terry Lawless is as good-looking or cool as any of them)

I feel they should be on stage; performers should be able to see their audience and vice versa. Mind you, in plays and operas the orchestra are usually in the pit, but I think that's so they don't interfere with the visual direction of everything on stage.
