In an interview in may, BOno said the new album would have 12 songs, 3 of which we have heard and 6 of which were revealed.

I wouldn't expect anything that Bono said a few months ago to be definitive.  These guys are known for changing things up.  Wasn't the track selection for the last two albums changed at the very last minute? i.e. Corbijn's Linear

Double album I reckon
These days artists release their albums on 2LPs. That doesn't mean it's a double. It still contains 40 - 50 minuten of music. The Joshua Tree, for example, was released as 1LP, the remastered ones as 2LP.

They do that because the quality will be better. (The outer grooves can hold better quality then the inner)

TBD usually stands for "To Be Determined," which actually sounds very much like a Bono-esque title.

The O's are meant to be similar in appearance to The Blackout announcement title font. But instead of being fully coloured in, they just look like an ascii/font version of it. Just a little extra thing to try to make it look legitimate.

Why anyone would believe an official tracklist would use Microsoft Word is beyond me. I mean, you can still see the underline from the friggin' automatic spellchecker. If the source is simply re-typing the actual tracklist then I don't see the point of using the fancy O's.

I have so many questions about this.

1. Where was this leaked?
2. What's with the weird O's?
3. What website was this on?
4. Any more details?

I have many more questions, but those are the ones I'll be asking for now.

Twenty-One Pilots should sue U2 for stealing the O's.  But 21P does have some U2 DNA in their sound. Mainly creating arena anthems

I think that the best change to get details will be at Fallon or  the day (or maybe the same day) after the last TJT30-show

Maybe they'll release a trackname a day, or being much more mysterious. They could do that. Just like they did with the balckout

Haha... no clue.  But we know the original plan was to officially announce everything today, and now that's changed. So for now atu2's "magical sources" saying October are the best we have to go on.

I for one trust Matt's post on the website. Why gripe and moan about what he wrote? He has his sources, and they are million times more believable and trustworthy than anyone else's on here, or twitter.

End of October announcement with a December 1st release seems pretty believable to me.

How the hell am I supposed to know? Im just Joe Public, but I can ASSURE you there are U2 sources out there that know of Matt and his site, and that they would not lie to him. U2's organization respects his site and the fact that the fans appreciate @U2 very much, if not better, than the actual U2 site. Errr....maybe you should cast your mind back to the band playing live at the anniversary party for this site - Matt has his connections, and I can also assure you he would NEVER share those with you or anyone else.

Run along and find something else to gripe about. You will probably see a leaked track list and details before, but I bet you the official announcement is around about the end of October.

If the album is to be released on Vinyl then the album will be on its way to the pressing plant shortly ... it takes roughly 10-12 weeks for vinyl production.

When I submitted my vinyl to the pressing plant I had to submit my titles in a word document alongside all the other details and notes

Jesus Christ looking at those song titles the album should be called" The Love experience"after hearing 3 of the songs nothing grabs me apart from the little things but in most cases as with all bands if you get 5 or 6 good tunes from an album it's generally perceived as a success sonically,personally I wouldn't be a fan of every song on Sergeant Pepper ,The Wall ,Back in Black or Exile on main street yet all have had a major impact on music however if this is to be U2s last record I hope they go out on a high rather than some lame ass album that is dull and forgettable.

The black ones are...who knows. They appear to be two different records. In the pic with 3 records it has flowers and "BD" in stylized font.

In the pic with 4 records, if you rotate the image and mess with the brightness and contrast you can see 4 cloaked and hooded figures with beards in front of a book on a table covered in bottles. So...I'm guessing it isn't SoE.

Might be cool in an absurd kind of way if it was though. I'm trying to find the source of it.

I think the guy who tweeted this stuff is trying to lure in followers with these homemade concoctions.

The black ones are...who knows. They appear to be two different records. In the pic with 3 records it has flowers and "BD" in stylized font.

In the pic with 4 records, if you rotate the image and mess with the brightness and contrast you can see 4 cloaked and hooded figures with beards in front of a book on a table covered in bottles. So...I'm guessing it isn't SoE.

Might be cool in an absurd kind of way if it was though. I'm trying to find the source of it.

I think the guy who tweeted this stuff is trying to lure in followers with these homemade concoctions.

Relax guys, there's entire catalogs of great music out there. If you're not a fan of millennial rock there's 50,000 great bands you can get into. Try radiohead, or Dire Straits. Get more into Bowie, or Pink Floyd. Haven't heard Led Zep's later stuff? Try it. Always wondered why people rave about Echo and the bunnymen? Queens of the stone age? PJ Harvey? Now is the time.

It's possible that they got the tracklist and they misspelled it when they typed it up to release it.
"A Showman" instead of "The Showman" is pretty conspicuous, though.  ???

Of course the song names are legit, but that picture they posted isn't a official u2 thing. It's in crappy resolution with the song names all over the place. U2 will announce the actual track list when it's time. Until then, there are no leaks. Personally I don't even care about the track listing order because I have no clue what the songs even sound like.

Even Better Than the Real Thing is a lot more clever than Much More Better.

I suspect that a lot of the names that've been thrown at us are only working titles. U2 have a history of strange working titles... Under the Weather (later became ISHFWILF), Sad Puppy (Mysterious Ways), Diorama (Crazy Tonight), etc.

That clip is great. It does have the feel of the Beautiful Day rhythm section, but that does not bother me. The chorus and Edge's guitar are fantastic. Either way it gets me even more excited that we're getting a new U2 album this year. Can't wait.

It looks like "Much More Better" was the original title for the song "The Showman"

Well, that one Irish Sun article says they're different, I think it said Much More Better was about Bono's bike accident.

'Much More Better' wasn't in the Tracklist I published. I also mentioned 'Book of your Heart' a good week before Bono did in his interview.
